The true cost and burden of frontotemporal dementia

Frontotemporal dementia carries a heavy economic and societal burden, particularly as it often affects people at a younger age. Within PREDICTFTD, OHE's early insights reveal how diagnostic delays contribute to increased costs, caregiver strain, and a reduced quality of life. These findings support the case for earlier, biomarker-based diagnosis.
